June 9, 2009 - Summer
schedule

St.
Andrew's will be beginning its summer schedule starting June 14 to
better accommodate the summer schedule. Mother Bennett will also be on
sabbatical during this period. Regular church times and she will return
on Aug. 15. In the mean time, the church will be in the capable hands
of Fr. Pence.

April 9, 2009 - Holy
Week
|
St. Andrew's is
celebrating Holy Week beginning with Maundy Thursday Holy Eucharist tonight at 7 p.m. followed by the
Vigil for those who wish to volunteer for this prayerful activity. A
nursery will be available at 6:30 p.m.
Good Friday will include a 12:10 p.m.
Stations of the Cross rite. This rite does not replace the regular Good
Friday Holy Eucharist conducted at 7
p.m. A nursery will be available at 6:30 p.m.
On Holy Saturday, Parishioners can volunteer in the church garden
beginning at 9 a.m. There will be the Easter Vigil beginning at 7 p.m. A nursery will also be
available at 6:30 p.m.
Easter Sunday will have Holy Eucharist at the normal times of 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. The children's Easter egg
hunt will follow the 10 a.m.
Following this week, the church resumes its regular schedule as on the
right.

April 2, 2009 - Lent

April is a busy month at

March 2, 2009 - Lent
|
Lent is another special
season in the church. For this time of year, we will be observing
Wednesdays with a 6 p.m. Holy Eucharist that includes the sacrament of
Unction, followed by soup and sandwiches at 6:30 p.m. in the Pearson
Hall, a class on Anglicanism at 7:15 p.m., and the Office of Compline
at 8:15 p.m.
On Friday, at 7 p.m., the church will commemorate the Stations of the
Cross rite. This is the traditional rite where the progression of
Christ to crucifixion is remembered.
Both events will continue entirely through Lent. On Good Friday,
Stations of the Cross will be held at 12:10 p.m.

On Jan. 18, the parish will conduct its annual meeting. There will be a
9 a.m. joint Eucharist conducted followed by the meeting. All
parishioners are requested to attend.
