St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, located in downtown Edwardsville,
Illinois, is a mid-sized family church offering Adult Education, a
Church School program and Youth Group in addition to community outreach
opportunities. We faithfully serve Christ and proclaim the Gospel in
the
Anglican/Episcopal tradition. We are a diverse parish and welcome all
visitors of all traditions

- The February 2012 issue of The Shield is available on
this website, along with the February calendar and schedule. These documents can be accessed on this page by clicking the links on the left. If you wish to be be added to the distribution list for the parish newsletter,
you may subscribe through the box in the left hand column.
- Parishes in Darrow Deanery are invited to St. Andrew's retreat led by Sister Marilyn Lott of St. Louis University on Saturday, February 11, 9 am to 3 pm. Hosted by the ECW, the retreat will feature "Women of the Bible." A continental breakfast will be served early morning and a light lunch at midday. There is no charge for attending but donations will be welcome. Please call the church office at 656-1929 if you will be attending.
- St. Andrew's first Quilt Show and Fabric Arts Display will be held Friday and Saturday, March 9-10. If you are interested in displaying a quilt or fabric art, call the church office to obtain the registration form.
- St. Andrew's annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper is Tuesday, February 21, 5 - 7 pm in the parish hall, hosted by the Men's Group. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children 5 years and up. Children under 5 years are admitted free.
- The Lenten season begins with Ash Wednesday worship on February 22. Said Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes with Father Pence as celebrant and preacher will be at 12 Noon. Mother Bennett will be celebrant and preacher for the 7 pm Choral Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes.
