| Oct. 14,
2007 - October is Stewardship Month |
|
Stewardship is
a way of life.
For Christians who follow in the way of the Lord Jesus, stewardship is
an expression of discipleship.
When we recognize that God is the origin of all life,
the giver of everything that we have and are,
the source of our freedom and giftedness,
we respond by thanking God through prayer,
by serving God and God's people through ministry,
by sharing our financial resources with those in need.
Stewardship is a way of life
based upon conversion of heart.
October is Stewardship Month at St. Andrew’s.
We invite parishioners to join us in making a
a renewed commitment to St. Andrew’s ministries
based on a conversion of heart as we move through the four weeks of
Stewardship Month.

Sept. 4,
2007 - A new
website in transition
|
Welcome to
the new website
of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church! We are a 100-year-old church located
in downtown Edwardsville on Hillsboro Avenue. This new site comes at
the effort of some of the parishioners, with special thanks to Marian
Smithson for initial layout design and Matt Warren for his assistance
with certain technical aspects, including the website design. For more
information about our church, feel free to examine the other sections
of the site as they come online in the coming days and weeks. For our
old site, including the information stored there, please click on the
above banner or here. Because
this site is only
partially operational, the old site may contain the information you're
looking for.
