Dame Julian of Norwich Prayer Group

This ministry -- named for Dame Julian of Norwich (1342-c.1416) who wrote one of the great classics of spiritual life -- uses the gift of intercessory prayer to pray for anyone needing prayer for physical, mental, or emotional problems. The ministry participants meet on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., go through a liturgy, and then pray for the people on a prayer list which comes from the priest, parishioners, and others. The list may also include names from the larger church such as the bishop of our Diocese.

On the first Tuesday of every month, a retired priest celebrates a healing Eucharist for the group to which the entire parish is invited. All parishioners are welcome to join the prayer group to use their gifts. Contact Sharon Hoffman for further information.
